Poems are like clothing, changing form and structure fit to mood and experience, like dense wool in rain and flannel before the fire. These poems came alive in me and then wrapped their comfort around me over forty years in my travels, my struggles, and my longings, providing perspective and hope.

Randall William White is the author of five books, including Poetic Intercessions: Artful Prayers for a Friend, a series of 52 prayer poems for a friend who had suffered a stroke. He and his wife Tina live in Fresno, California, on the same street as his two sons and their wives, and their six grandchildren.
