This interactive book is designed to help "picky eaters" learn about different kinds of foods and to practice seeing and trying new things. Take an adventure through your kitchen and experience new foods through this book. This book will introduce you to many different foods that are part of the food pyramid. Each page also has an area where you can see and point to their colors. The story will take you through various elements of foods from taste, texture, and color. Each food character will discuss themselves in ways that will help your child understand what they look like and the types of meals they make. Once they get to know the food and all the “yumminess” it brings, have them try it out. When they try a new food (a tiny lick or eating the whole piece), celebrate their accomplishment with praise and excitement as well as adding a token to the food pyramid provided in the book. "Picky-Eaters" will be well on their way to adding new foods to their meals.
