The author, Audree Glenn, is a 7th Grade girl at Jarrell Middle School in Jarrell, Texas. Audree has a strong passion for caring for people. In Aransas Pass Strong you can see how much she truly cares for the town of Aransas Pass. Audree’s family was impacted by Hurricane Harvey. They had to evacuate, stay in a hotel, wait in suspense, come home to the chaos, her cousins without a school. The Story Aransas Pass Strong is a fictional book told through the eyes of a child with experiences that have been shared by Audree’s family members.
