Florida-based Avery Stark is the author of After Eight, An Aubrey Stanton Novel, her debut crime thriller series, and is hard at work on the second in the series. She self-published Songs for Griffin, a collection of personal family and children’s songs.

Avery graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a B.A. in Spanish and English Literature and Language. Not only an avid reader, but Avery also belongs to three critique groups and values their insights and comments. Avery lives with her 7 cats and 6 foster kittens waiting for adoption. The kittens enjoy adding to her stories, although their typing skills are limited, and their contributions are usually deleted.
