I drew this story while I was deployed to Afghanistan in 2010. Nearly ten years later, I found myself married with two beautiful children. I didn't know the full extent of my dreams back then; I only knew that I had to chase them no matter what the world did to try and stop me. I am happy to discover that bad moments are temporary, and the love of God is unconditional.
