							About Me |

I was brought up in Corby, England from a working class Anglo Scottish, Irish family, with also Anglo Indian ancestry.
I spent a lot of my youth involved with the new age traveller scene, that prevailed during the late 1980's to mid 90's. In my time, I studied philosophy & ancient spirituality, ranging from existentialism to the ancient mystery cults, gnostic Christianity, Hinduism, Buddhism & Taoism. I worked as a mental health worker for nearly 10 years, learning much about the human condition. My poetic influences vary from William Blake to the Beat poets. I have also been inspired by the philosophical writings of Alan Watts. The themes of my poetry are based on my personal experiences and insights that I have gleaned from life and the great kind people I have met on the way. I also paint in oils, so like to design my own book covers to add that personal touch. I therefore hope that you enjoy reading my book of poetry & find some very human food for thought.
