The author is an 18 year veteran of the US Army having served as a Military Police soldier, and a 10 year veteran as a civilian police officer. He has a background in Special Weapons and Tactics, Crime Scene Investigations, Criminal Investigations, Unarmed Combatives Instructor, Drill Instructor, and various leadership schools and positions.

He has a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice and is currently working toward a Master's Degree in Public Administration and Leadership. He is also an ordained minister and a certified personal fitness trainer.

He resides on the eastcoast with his beautiful wife and three wonderful daughters.
