Donah E. Sandford discovered her craft at the High School of Creative and Performing Arts in Cincinnatti, Ohio. She won several awards including the Corbett-Mayerson Award for her creativity and the art of expressing her poems through spoken word. She also won U.S. Navy award for her intense artwork.
