About Me
Robyn has fearless taste buds and an open mind to any cuisine. Growing up, she spent many exciting hours in the kitchen with her parents, grandparents and a great grandmother, who passed on their expertise in such broad cuisines such as New Orleans, Thai, French, Russian Jewish, and Texas. She chose to follow the Jewish dietary laws at age seven, and at age eleven became vegetarian. Her first job at age sixteen was at the Whole Foods Market in Houston, TX, and right out of high school she worked as a sous chef in a macrobiotic restaurant. She has since worked as a Senatorial aide, and now runs a well established massage practice. She believes that recipes can take you any place or time you want to go – which is why she owns over 200 cookbooks and reads them like fairytales. This is her first book.
