Christine Mayes (goes by Chris) loves learning, kayaking, hiking, reading, family history, remodeling, creating, crocheting, sewing and anything else that piques her interest (sometimes momentarily). One of her passions is spending time with her husband Mike, six children, their spouses and four grandchildren. Her favorite book is Parenting with Love and Logic as it has profoundly affected and changed how she parents. She takes any opportunity to share this book with others and credits this book with putting her on the path to becoming a school counselor. She works as a school counselor in Nevada and loves how this profession keeps her feeling young.
