Erica was born in Salt Lake City Utah where she then moved to Arizona. She went to Twin peaks, Marana Middle, and then Moved onto Marana High School where she met Nathan Voelkerding. They were on the same swim team together. He did Butterfly. She did the 500. They were swim buddies and thats all that Erica thought of him as. She graduated High School. That same year on December 19th he messaged her on facebook. She replyed. They hung out one night, and thats when their lives flipped....all for the better.
