About Me
My name is Ernesto Hernandez and I am a 17 year old senior in high school. I have a brother named Brandon Hernandez and I am grateful that he has put up with me and I would like to thank him for always being there when I needed him. I also have my uncle Jesus Escobar to thank for the discipline that he has taught me and continues to be an amazing role model. I have always found poems as a form of art and think my biggest inspirations were my 1st grade teacher, Ms. Kimberly Pauls, and my 5th grade teachers Mrs. Patricia Vega-Jeter and Mr. Michael Long. They have taught me so much and have influenced who I am today. I am beyond grateful to have had these wonderful educators in my life and am glad they believed in me. My grandma Olga Escobar has also taught me to be kind and loving, no matter how dark the person is, we must find the light within them. My poems reflect the kindness I have learned from my grandmother. Last, but not least, I would like to thank my parents, Ernesto..
