Cori Kalmes is originally from Wisconsin but currently resides in the beautiful state of Colorado. She has 1 brother, two sisters (of which she is the favorite), and two loving parents. When she is not writing outstanding children's books, she enjoys skiing, mountain biking, hiking, rock climbing, playing hockey and being herself. She has personally won several Dundee awards for her children's books.
