Edward was born in northern Illinois and is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin - Madison with a major in Biochemistry. He now resides in Algonquin, Illinois with his wife Julie and children Bailey and Madeline.

Kristina was born in Indiana and is a graduate of Purdue University with a major in art. She still resides in West Lafayette with her husband Brandon and daughter Sophia. Kristina is Edward's niece.
