JeTaun M. Murphy, best known in the worlds of independent and underground music as Jai Phoenix, is a graduate of the University of Phoenix where she received her Bachelor of Science in Human Services Management. She has many creative abilities and hones in on her skills of writing poetry, songwriting, singing, rapping, and writing stories. She is also gifted with the abiliy to play some instruments by ear. JeTaun's first published work of poetry and carved art appeared in The Falcon's Quill, an internal student magazine, at Forest Park Jr. High School located in Springfield, Massachusetts. This is her first children's book, and she is currently working on completing her first book of her original poetry.
