About Me
Jennifer Ryan Jarosz is from Holden, Massachusetts. She graduated in 2011 from Saint Anselm College in Manchester, New Hampshire with a major in fine arts and a minor in french. Art, the french language, and education are her true passions in life. Therefore, combining them in the form of a children’s book became a perfect project to do for her senior thesis at Saint Anselm. Jennifer studied abroad to Nîmes, France in high school and to Paris in college during the fall of 2009. During her semester abroad in college, she studied studio art and art history at the Louvre. While in Paris, she babysat two young girls, Molly and Ruby. The girls were born in Paris, but their parents were American. Jennifer would have to read so many different books to them before they went to sleep. The girls were bilingual, so they made her read French books and English books, but never a book with both languages in one. This sparked Jennifer’s idea to create a bilingual children’s book...
