Katherine Holmes Moody grew up in eastern North Carolina in a family of eleven with her dad being an Episcopal Minister and her mom a Saint. She learned in her early years that all small acts of kindness can make a difference in this world and hopes to share those life lessons with others. The Little House That Wanted To Be Big is a story about gentrification and how to keep the community in the community. This first time author will choose contemporary situations to write about in her We Kare series which will share ideas that anyone can implement into their lives to help others. Her target audience is everyone but also written so that children may enjoy too by listening or reading themselves. Vocabulary words and discussion questions will be offered for each chapter so that the reader can take the story beyond the book. Katherine currently lives in Cary, NC, with her husband and yellow lab and is the mom of three daughters. She truly believes kindness can change the world.
