My name is Marie Bailey, I am 17 and I live in Colorado. Growing up I wasn't that all into poetry. It wasn't until my second year of high school that I began to read and understand poetry. After reading Anne Sextons poem 'Cinderalla' I started to write thoughts down then changed words to make it sound better. It took me a while to get used to writing in rhyme and a sence ofmeaning but once I got it, it came easy.
