Mary Ellen Golden-Marien loves to garden and spend time with family and friends. After raising three daughters and a son, she finally found time to write little children's book for her grandson. The idea was not only for a fun little story for entertainment but also to provide a learning tool about how important bees are to the world.

Mary Ellen lives in Yonkers, New York with her husband, Jean.
