Misty has a compassionate heart, especially for individuals facing disabilities, hardships, or mental health challenges, and she strives to create an inviting and supportive learning environment for all.

Outside the classroom, Misty is a proud wife, a mom to two sons whom she loves dearly, and a grandmother of two, whose presence always brings extra fun and joy to her day. She enjoys camping, gardening, and getting out on their side-by-side to explore their great state.
