About Me
M. Sean Dowd’s Film credits include roles in: The Hangman in “Percy Harris”. The Last Ride (an experimental short) by Siloam productions, a film in production about a Persian student, and as Mick Aquadale in Jutes music videos (Rolling Stone and Almost there).

Dowd is also a writer and spoken word artist. He writes on, family, music and politic, tours of Korea; local Music reviews (of IMOO-the Improvising Musicians of Ottawa and the Outaouais) ; and poetic prose panache developed through a writers group called “the Play Date with Sean Zio”. Dowd has written with Tree Poetry reading’s workshops; and in collaboration with, “The Recipe” Poetry troupe at Umi Café in Ottawa where he is a regular at Friday open Mics.

Sean has taught at Ridgemont HS for 24 years. He has four self published chapbooks presented as InFlightPress. “Gitmo Begone” is a “Poli-Sci-Fi” story that Dowd had published on-line in 2007. Dowd is a strong LGBTQQ ally and promotes..
