Nesta Shay grew up in South Carolina with her mother, father, and younger sister. Ever since she was young, she showed a love and passion for literature and writing. In high school, she spent four years as a reporter and editor for the school newspaper. It was also in high school that she first seriously started writing her own stories. She is now nineteen and attends a community college, where she is an English major. She wishes to one day become a middle school literature teacher and share with her students the joys of reading.
