I am mother of 3 grown daughters, ages 23, 33, and 37, and one 8 year old granddaughter.
I began writing when my oldest daughter was in 1st grade. I made up fictional stories, using my daughter's name, as the base of my stories, her friends names', and whatever hobbies she had, to get her interested in reading. It worked! She loved reading. I continued writing stories for her, and her sisters after they were born.
The next thing I knew, I was writing short stories for my family and friends, for their children. I enjoy it, so it becomes easy for me to come up with new ideas.
