I'm a student at the University of Northern Colorado where I'm pursuing a degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in teaching English as a second language. For the last couple of years I have discovered the richness different cultures bring and value each one of them. I have spent the last few years mentoring a young girl who's family speaks only Spanish and discovered how wonderful it is to have friendships with people who's lives are completely different than my own.
