Jane was born in April 24, 1928 in Logan, West Virginia to James and Regina Warrick. She was a graduate of Princeton High School, class of 1946. Jane married Robert Allen Damron that same year. Robert and Jane moved to Jacksonville, Florida and had two beautiful daughters, Karen Sue and Hazel. Jane worked for JEA for 25 yrs and retired as a Supervisor in the Customer Service Department. They spent many weekends in Salt Springs, Florida building their vacation home. Karen went on to have two children, Swain Allen Riggs, Sr. and Sheri Lynn McGough (Riggs). Hazel has two sons, Scott Martin and Brian Martin. The grandkids spent many weekends in Salt Springs enjoying MeMaw's (Auntmaw's) favorite home cooked meals, swimming at the lake and at the springs, fishing and hunting with grandaddy and numerous other activities. MeMaw and Grandaddy always made everything better. Jane Warrick Damron passed away January 7, 2008. She was definitely one of a kind. Strong, smart, beautiful, loyal and giving. She leaves behind a legacy, a husband of 61 years, Robert Allen Damron, two daughters, Karen Sue Sartain (Paul) and Hazel Martin (Craig), four grandchildren, Swain Allen Riggs (Sara), Sheri Lynn McGough (Doug), Scott Craig Martin (Stephanie), Brian Martin (Jenny), eight great grandchildren, Swain Allen, Jr, Robert Davis Riggs, Hunter Wyatt Riggs, Jeremiah Griffin Riggs, Ryan Garrett McGough, Brody Shawn McGough, Lukas Martin, and Kate Martin. We miss her beyond words and dedicate this cookbook to her. WE LOVE YOU MEMAW!
