I am an interdisciplinary artist on a journey of discovery and reignition. My work is an emotional and physical response to the landscape. As a child I spent time on the Murrumbidgee River in and around Darlington Point NSW. For a while we lived on the banks of the river and I love the smell of river clay on my skin and in my hair. I continue to be inspired and invigorated by the sites, smells and sounds of the Australian landscape, which is vast and diverse and there is always more to see, touch and smell. My work is currently centred around acrylic painting on canvas and continues to involve digital photography that has a macro quality, focussing on detail, colour and contrast. Drawing with inks and charcoals is also a consistent part of my practice and the style shifts, ebbs and flows. As my vagabondage continues physically and geographically so does my art practice, forever evolving.
