Hey, I'm Summer Morris. I'm fifteen and I've been writing for about four years. I never liked writing. I never liked, reading either. Let's just say I was mentally lost. One day I picked up a book. I started reading that book. To my surprise, I actually liked it. Once fiished with that book, I read another. And another, and another. Finally I decided that was what I wanted to do; write. I so I wrote and wrote and wrote. And all that writing resulted in about four books. But, being young and only having an eighth grade education my books weren't exactly splendid and professional. So I went to classes and workshops and fesivals. I spent my weekend reading about grammar instead of going to the movies with my friends. Finally I came up with something succesful; Petals of a Tulip. I wanted this book published so badly, but no one would take me seriously. So, I've decided to self publish. I have many other books I would like to someday publish, but for now, I'm going with this one. I hope you enjoy this story and I hope my writing is as good as I think it is.
