About Me
|
Tameer Siddiqui is a premed undergraduate student at Loyola University Chicago. She has shadowed a variety of physicians in many underserved communities and is also a certified Emergency Medical Technician. Tameer's experience volunteering at a free clinic has truly sparked her interest in universal health care. She is a strong advocate for social justice and believes health care is not a privilege; it is a human right. Tameer aspires to become an Internal Medicine Physician not only because she is most inspired by the challenges and self-rewarding experiences that come with primary care, but mainly because the ability to provide health care to a population that needs it the most is one of the ways in which she believes she can truly make a positive difference.
