The Author Brenda Mitchell grew up in the urban Ohio area. She was the youngest of five brothers and raised by her parents J.C. and Beatrice. Brenda is a mother of three children, two daughters and one son. However, she has custody of five of her grandchildren. She is a hard working woman who is completely devoted to her family. She enjoys writing poetry is many different genres and themes. Her poems tend to be very meanigful and powerful and are a fabulous representation of her phenomenal character.
