Teacher Greta is a native of the island of Saint Martin. She is a wife and mother of two boys and has been working in the field of early childhood education for over 10 years. After earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Sociology, her inclination to help others lead her to her first role as a preschool teacher back in 2004. After falling in love with working with students, she returned to earn a Master of Arts in Teaching degree at Mercer University in Atlanta, Georgia. She would later go on to gain experience teaching in the Georgia Pre-k program in Sugar Hill Georgia followed by experiences in Kindergarten through to grade 5 at the Catholic School board and international Schools on St. Maarten. Greta considers herself as an amalgam, not an infinite body of knowledge. Writing, Language, Music and culture are her points of interest in the classroom and she enjoys sharing this knowledge with others. She currently works as a freelance writer and ESL instructor.
