L.A. detective Jack Brill takes his family on vacation to the ghost town of Bodie, Ca, only to find that, upon arrival, they have somehow managed to travel back in time to the Old West. Instead of an abandoned town, they discover T.J. Sloan and his gang of thugs, who have treed the silver mining town of Bodie and await the arrival of a train transporting Sloan's brother, an outlaw condemed to die by the rope in Texas.
