A workbook, for children of all types, that supports the social inclusion of children with autism spectrum disorders in schools (without labeling). This workbook is intended to be used by teachers and students in 2nd or 3rd grade classrooms as a class wide tool for educating how to be supportive, helpful, accepting, and understanding of children who are different. The goal of the workbook is to create a classroom environment that resembles a supportive, caring community.

Marisa has been working as a behavioral interventionist with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders and their families for 7 years and counting. She has facilitated the social inclusion of many children with ASD in various public schools and has even gotten clients to the point of no longer requiring behavioral services. She currently works as a lead behavioral therapist in the Autism Services Department of Easter Seals Southern California.
