This is a book about my road to freedom. I am going to be sharing with you how religion broke me and my family, and how I found freedom, and discovered what a real imperfect relationship with Christ looks like. I hope to help others find freedom too. I hope that they will see at the end of this book that God is a loving, compassionate, full of grace kind of God, and that He is also the truth and the light.

About Author
Hi, my name is Lauren and I am twenty-one years old. I always knew that God called me to be a writer, but I had no idea what He wanted me to write about until recently. I am now the only christian left in my intermediate family of six, and that is all thanks to religion. Religion is a man made definition of what Christianity is. It's the kind of thing that makes non-Christians or people who have been affected by it in a negative way like my family, want to run away from. God has put it on my heart to share with you what it is like to abstain from religion, but still have a relationship with God. So if you want to hear my story then let's get into it.
