Gilbert's first collection of short stories includes autobiographical and fictional work. Many of his stories focus on his various hunts throughout his beloved Africa.

Judge Ernest B. Gilbert currently practices law in Brunswick, Georgia. He has two daughters, Anna and Emmy, and wonderful fiancee, Sandy. Gilbert is a world traveler. He has visited Africa many times on safari and has written a number of stories about his experiences.
