It is the author's desire for a child who deals with an adult who is unable or unwilling to control their anger to be comforted by the realization that other children have overcome a similar experience. They are not alone in feeling the way that they do. It is her hope that this book will cause adults to recognize that children are unnecessarily harmed when they become the object of out of control adult anger.
