Green Wood is home to Bea, Joshua, Gwen's Grandmother Charlotte, and many other normal people but there are also two very abnormal people that live there. Ace and Gwen have never even met, but one knows about the other and will do anything he can do to protect her from the magic that resides in Green Wood.
