People know that you can have a tremendous & successful life if you have the proper and correct motivation. Probably, yes. The calling now for being a teacher is to be a good servant, a servant leader, or a servant-hero. However, behind those words plays a terrific continuous role where you can have a boundless effect for others especially to the youths. Then I asked myself, am I a servant-hero in the eyes of my students? To my co-teachers? to my family? and to God? My eyes closed, tears came out. I recall when I started teaching, there was this young girl who desires to be an ordinary teacher with less salary but there was a smile in her lips every time she saw many of her pupils learned reading, writing, and counting numbers. FILIPINAS N. PANGILINAN is a public school teacher in Bro. Andrew Gonzalez Technical High School, San Juan, Apalit, Pampanga. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Home Economics and earned her Master of Arts Degree in Educational Management at Pampanga State of Agriculture University. She received the award of Honoris Causa-Doctor of Humanities last January, 2019. Currently pursuing her studies in Bible Training Centre For Pastor and Church Leaders at Apalit Bible Christian Church. She became the research coordinator of her school and submitted researches & innovation in the Department of Education, Division of Pampanga.
