About the Book

A collection of God-inspired poems/prose created to inspire, encourage, and uplift. POETRY is so much more than the creative blending of synonyms and homonyms. For the depth and capacity of a poet can never be reached. POETRY is an art that you can never teach; it is birthed in the heart of the poet, created in the mind, and manifested in script. It's the repetition of that point that needs to be exclaimed, the stress on the words that need to be proclaimed. Dealing with issues from love and fun to death and despair. POETRY is an emotion that must be felt. An imaginary bouquet of flowers from the garden of the poet's heart; each showing off its importance in the flower shop window. On display with its unique splendor, awaiting for you to pick the one embodying the words that connect to your heart and speak to your soul.

The one that penetrates your spirit, because POETRY is undeniably REAL.

Hello my name is Diane Johnston-Anderson

Texts and emails have become the main forms of communication today and feelings are expressed with emojis. It seems everyone has an Instagram of snapchat to stay in touch. Face to face communication is slowly becoming extinct. My mission is to bring back the tangible and personal touch; a framed piece of literary art that can be displayed on a wall or table; a conversation piece if you will.

Djapoetry was created to spread awareness and love through creative art expression. Turning back the hands of time and bringing back sentimental values and showcasing the emotions of the heart.
