Those with Savant Syndrome demonstrate abilities light-years beyond the average person. However, with less than one hundred people worldwide it is an extremely rare and difficult condition to study for research purposes.
A lifelong friend, a prodigy named Eric, exhibited the bewildering abilities of a Savant. However, there were differences; for example, he could teach others how to do the same feats he achieved.
For the most part, Eric was discrete. As a result, many people only heard of his abilities in casual conversation. Usually, they assumed it was rumors or gossip, or worse; they would relate him to Hollywood Psychics on TV, which drove us nuts. However, those that knew him and were part of his inner circle knew the truth.
His lessons way back at this young age are where I started my spiritual journey. If you continue reading, I warn you, the depth of this rabbit hole of a subject is deep beyond measure and may challenge everything you have ever believed reality to be.
