Aspen Black is a singer/songwriter, cowgirl poet, author, painter, and award-winning horse woman. She is the owner/operator of Buksbari Ranch, Inc. and founder of the Empowered Riding program. Her latest original western music CD, Eastern Western Cowgirl, won the 2015 Rural Roots Music Commission Female Country-Western CD of the Year. Her poetry CD, Invisibility, finished as a Top-Five finalist for WMA Cowboy Poetry CD of the Year, 2015, and she also finished as a 2015 Top-Five WMA Female Poet of the Year. Overall, she has released two country albums, four western CD’s, two poetry CD’s, and several books. She tours nationally giving concerts, workshops, and equine clinics.
