As a primary school teacher and a parent of three 'Sallys', I wanted to try and use my love of storytelling to collect together a series of short stories that reflect my interest and passion for helping children to develop their social and emotional skills.
I now work with children that have emotional and behavioural problems. I know that there are things that come up in every child's life that can cause anxiety. I hope that by writing these short stories, I am able to open up conversations between children and their parents and give them a talking point to explore things that may have happened, or may actually be happening to them.
