Lena Barager Oxley, my beloved paternal grandmother, told me this story about her own life. She loved her father and his example helped her continued to keep a loving attitude toward God, family, and animals. She lived to be 97 years old. As a grandmother of Kurtis, Jack, Elise, Reagan, Harper, Baylor, and Isla, the author hopes this story serves to remind these wonderful children that many years ago, a loving father helped his little girl overcome her fear by teaching her to trust his advice.
